Circles in Motion

Inspired by the fleeting shapes of the Japanese countryside rushing past a high-speed train window, the BASIN series captures the blurred horizons of mountains, valleys, and plateaus in motion. Rooted in pure geometry, its perfect circular forms echo the shifting landscape—balancing change and stillness, presence and distance. Like moments suspended between places, it evokes the bittersweet feeling of missed connections and possibility.
