In this recurring travel series, we'll highlight 3 top spots that we love from around the world. The first volume for Tokyo starts with these places I personally visit often below.

COFFEE + PUDDING
Head to Hatagaya Station. This is a little out of the way of the usual touristy neighbourhoods in Tokyo, but I used to live somewhat close by - there are some truly lovely spots hidden away here. Cyōdo is absolutely lovely and delicious. The pudding here is one of my favourites in the city! It's also right beside Steppin' which is a fabulous little bakery.

STROLL
Bullpen
After coffee, walk over to Bullpen shop, about 12-15 minutes south, taking you into the Nishihara area. Your first stop, Bullpen is an impeccably curated home goods and furniture shop, featuring some very talented local and international artists. After that, grab some pão de queijo or Brazilian cheese balls at Legal, a beautiful new coffee shop with a South American twist.

LUNCH + SNACKS
Continue strolling down this street and you'll come across a dozen other wonderful little shops to tuck into. Browse ice cream and wine at Kasiki or baked goods at Katane. For lunch, I recommend going to Asahiya, a traditional soba / noodle destination at the end of the street. Very homey, very delicious.
